Monday, 5/16, 6-11pm: BLAH is showing the documentary “Lunch Line” for their May Mondays with MIHO. Doors open at 6, screening at 7.
Wednesday, 5/18, 5:30-8pm: A charity name that is uncannily similar to my blog’s, eat. drink. read. is an event to benefit the San Diego Council on Literacy. Admission is $60 and will include awesome dishes by great restaurants. There will also be a silent auction.
Wednesday, 5/18: SD DrinkAbout. Join the beer bus going to several bars from Blind Lady to Hamilton’s.
Friday, 5/20: Dueling casks at Hamiltons, with Alesmith IPA and Alesmith Nautical Nut Brown.
Saturday, 5/21 and Sunday, 5/22, 11am-4pm: The Linkery will be highlighting Suzie’s Farm’s squash blossoms in a tasty omelet.
Saturday, 5/21, 4pm: Zine workshop in conjunction with Eveoke’s REFUGE dance project, minimum age is 15 due to the themes of the workshop. The workshop will result in a collaborative zine that explores the cycles of violence, sexual violence, and domestic violence in our culture. Eveoke Dance Theatre, 2811-A University Ave in North Park.
Saturday, 5/21, 4pm: The last performance of “A Watershed Tale” at Wild Willow Farm. Suggested donation is $10 and all proceeds will go to the farm and education center.
I’ve had an incredibly busy week: finishing up a final project for class, interviewing and then training for a second job, my unpaid internship working with ~*~kids~*~, and my shifts at BLAH. Phew!
